We are proud to offer an Artist Mentoring program. Our group of talented local artists share their expertise on a variety of topics that help guide emerging artists into confident professionals. Patricia A. Hawkenson - Colored Pencil
"I enjoy creating images with a sense of whimsy that celebrate bold color choices."
Best known for her adult coloring books of local Eau Claire landmarks.
Patricia keeps the creativity coming in many forms.
She is also a published author - writing poetry and novels.

Kevin & Wendy Schaefer - Oil Painters
Kevin and Wendy's paintings reflect their love of nature and the mystery that awaits us around the corner to be met with anticipation and joy. This husband and wife-painting team is one of a kind. They are artists with one vision, working together on the same canvas.

Jim Backus -
Nature Photographer
"I get an unbelievable rush when I look into the eyes of the animals and birds as I photograph them." Jim's interest in photography has spanned more than fifty years. His photos include photos from all over the world. Jim enjoys sharing his knowledge, and love for, photography.

Holli Jacobson - Acrylic Painter
She works both abstractly and semi-realistically, creating both imagined landscapes and plein-air paintings of native landscapes, plants, and insects. Recent paintings are inspired by her native backyard garden, a place constantly vibrating with life. Plants of various colors, shapes, and sizes changing throughout the year with creatures of all types.

Mindy Huntress - Acrylic
​Mindy Huntress paints whimsical, detail-rich worlds where surreal landscapes meet heartfelt storytelling. Working in acrylic on canvas, she blends rich color, precise detail, and gentle symbolism into scenes that feel both familiar and dreamlike. She creates from her studio at Banbury Place, Studio 120 in Building 13, and shares her work at juried art fairs nationwide as well as local markets.

Renee Ewer - Multiple Medias
"I love drawing and working with clay; especially sculpting fantasy and whimsical characters and dolls. If they make you laugh or smile, mission accomplished."Her whimsical fantasies include varied art in 2D & 3D forms. She enjoys working with polymer clay, lino printing, and more.
