Classes
Our instructors are local established artists working in many mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, mixed media, and more.
Classes are intimate small group settings. We value individual artistic expression.

Participants do not ‘copy,’ but instead, use an experimental approach as they incorporate new techniques to create works of art.
Decadent Gifts and Gallery will be offering a variety of Art Classes and Art Talks in our After-Hours Series.
Classes and Art Talks usually meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings or Saturday afternoons and are held at Decadent Gifts and Gallery.
Larger events hosted by Decadent Gifts and Gallery may be offered at a different location, such as the BrewProjekt.

With small class sizes, events sell out quickly, so check back often for new offerings.
Painting Classes with Schaefer/Miles
Thursdays Feb 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th 6pm-8pm
Learn new tips and techniques in a variety of media or stick to one you love.
Beginner to Advanced. Realism, Impressionism, and Abstract style – you choose.
Get assistance with things you are working on! And start a fresh canvas.
It is your time to work on and receive help with using your own reference materials.
Topics will include composition in landscape, portraiture, and still life, as well as how to mix colors and create light and atmosphere in your painting.
The art class is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
Bring your oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastels and substrates. (Canvas, Board, or Paper) We will have some supplies on hand for your use in class so you can try a new medium or substrate.

Linoleum Print Making
Saturday Feb14th 2pm-5pm
Class is on February 14th 2pm-5pm.
If you've ever wanted to print your own creative designs that can be printed on paper items, this will be the perfect workshop for you!
Carve your own image on a 4x6 block of linoleum.
No prior carving experience is needed as this is a beginning level class.
Age requirement 18+ (sharp tools will be used)

Eraser Stamp Making
Friday Feb 13th or 27th 3pm-5pm

Journal Making Workshop
Saturday Feb 21st 10am-2pm
Join us for a fun workshop as we create unique journals that can be used for artwork, note taking, or recording life’s moments.
This workshop will include all supplies needed to create one faux leather long stitch journal using a variety of fabrics, papers, and embellishments.
Limited to 8 participants.
